Ice Blue Nearing Completion

There is so much involved in making a film, no matter the size. It’s all-encompassing for anyone that’s a part of it for as long as they are.
For Ice Blue’s producer, Scott Lepp, it’s a bittersweet feeling.

I can’t tell you how happy I am to be finishing this thing. It’s been go, go, go since about February of this year. But at the same time, am I ready to put a stamp on it? To stop letting Sandi tweak (wink, wink)? To stop habitually tapping my watch? Nope.

This has been the greatest experience of my life – and here we are, 99% done before delivery. And, I say before delivery because as anyone knows who’s ever done a film, this is just the beginning. From here we’ve got marketing, promotion and distribution. It’s never-ending.

As for a status update, well, composer Alec Harrison has delivered a masterful score, VFX supervisor Olaf Blomerus has delivered his final shot, colourist Tyler Roth has only tweaks left and sound designer Frank Laratta is doing one last checkup pass before delivering final sound.

We are oh-so-close to completion! Stay tuned for screening information to be released soon.
